Program schedule for the live coverage of the budget between 1630 hours and 2300 hours IST on DD 2 scheduled for February 28, 1997. This programming may be available on DD International also (updates awaited)

Time (IST) Program Schedule
1630-1700 hrs Budget expectations from all walks of life in Delhi, Calcutta, Bombay, Madras, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. Apart from talking to individuals, the focus will be on one family from each city. The family will be sounded once again on reactions to the budget at the end of the programme.

This segment will also include explanations on how a budget is made, budget terminology made easy for the layman and historical references to past budgets
