IRCON International turn over - Rs.392 cr., earned foreign exchange of - Rs.32.9 cr., profit - Rs.41 cr. and paid dividend of Rs.1.24 cr. for 1994-95.
RITES turn over - Rs.80.7 cr., foreign exchange earning - Rs.19.8 cr., paid dividend of Rs.50 lakhs for 1994-95.
IRFC provided Rs.989 cr. in 1995-96 for purchase of rolling stock, raised U.S. $ 70 million as external commercial borrowings in 1995-96. Paid dividend of Rs.27.84 cr. for 1994-95.
CONCOR started with 7 container depots in 1989 has expanded to 32 locations. Turn over - Rs.217 cr. in 1994-95 and paid dividend of Rs.3.90 cr.
Railway sports persons won 16 national competitions and international USIC Tennis Championship in Sweden.
Cordial industrial relations continued between management and organised labour. Up to this year, 14.17 lakhs railway employees benefitted from cadre restructuring initiated since 1.3.1993.
Shortfall of Scheduled Castes in group 'A' and Scheduled Tribes in all groups being made good.
